Continuing the award-winning airport app to bring top-notch service experience to its customers, Finavia asked Futurice to again design and develop a new version of “smooth travelling” app for Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Helsinki Airport is one of a few in the world to introduce E-commerce services through their very ambitious Unity-powered app, features & integrations, including:
Push notifications about flight statuses • Helsinki Airport Security gates • Parking reservation system • GIS based digital map • Flight information • Bluetooth beacon based indoor positioning • Fully functioning web shop.

It was a broad project with multiple teams, I was responsible for Click’n’Collect flow – e-shopping feature, Parking service, illustrations & app interaction animation.
